At the heart of my Acorns Counselling practice is a belief that you already hold within yourself the strength and resources needed to reach your full potential. However, there are times when it feels impossible to access, or even believe, in these resources. This is especially true if you are feeling anxious, depressed, suffering a loss, illness, or simply feeling stuck, and this is where counselling can help.
I am a warm and open counsellor-in-training. My approach is humanistic and integrative meaning that I draw from a variety of theories to find a way of being with you which allows you to feel fully heard. I advise a minimum of 6-8 sessions to build our relationship. Beyond this, I offer short-term or open-ended therapy depending on what feels best for you.
I can offer you a safe and welcoming space where the trust we build can enable you to re-establish connection with yourself and others.
