I offer a range of therapeutic approaches for adults, teens and pre-teens, so therapy can be tailored to each individual client. I prioritise safety & acceptance, incorporating trauma-informed & neuro-affirming approaches. My therapeutic experience includes domestic and sexual abuse; childhood trauma & attachment difficulties; the impact of neurodivergence; and life struggles such as bereavement & loss, anxiety, depression and low self-esteem.
My background includes SEND advice for families, school support, children's relaxation classes, and fostering support. I have parented and professionally supported trauma-experienced and neurodivergent children. Being neurodivergent myself, I find deficit-based, ableist views of neurodivergence harmful, and practice neuro-affirming approaches instead.
Each of us brings with us a life story, a perspective of the world, and set of experiences that are unique to us. I understand this, and offer to listen and accept, without judgement so that you feel able to process, understand and move through what is needed . I aim for you to feel supported and find self acceptance.
