Hi, I’m Rachel and I’ve been a practising counsellor since 2012. I offer a warm, empathic, confidential space for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. I currently work as a school counsellor and within a private therapy setting.
I am a fully accredited member of the BACP and have experience in working with all ages, from 7 upwards, with specific training in mental health in young people. I also have training specific to anxiety, depression, stress, eating disorders, addiction, self-harm and domestic violence.
I adopt an integrative approach to therapy and will draw exclusively, or collaboratively on: cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy and/or compassion focused therapy, all of which will be discussed in detail during the first session.
