My name is Janet Joffe. I am an Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist , I choose an integrative approach because it gives me the flexibility to provide you with the most effective methods and techniques that suit you giving you the best opportunity to discover your own inner resources and the results you desire. I work with adults, young people and children.
If you have never had therapy before, it can be difficult to know what to expect. Working with me you will find a warm and safe environment to share and explore your thoughts. My role is to explore with you using a non-judgemental, compassionate, and kind way, so that together we can start to make sense of your feelings and concerns at your own pace.
What to expect: Prior to the initial session, I will call / or meet you face to face so that we can discuss what to expect from the sessions. Together we will complete an assessment, so I learn more about you and how you can get the best out of our time together. My sessions are one hour long .
