Hello and welcome. I am a qualified person-centred and humanistic counsellor. I view clients as the expert in their own experience. My role is to support you to heal and grow, realising your aims of therapy in the way that is best for you. I will offer you a safe, non-judgemental, confidential space where you can explore whatever is going on for you. I will listen and support you to explore your experiences of anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, bereavement or anything else you wish to bring – working with you at your own pace. I will value you as a unique person and work in partnership with you, with regular reviews of our work.
I qualified with a Person-Centred Foundation Degree (FdSc), awarded by the University of Brighton. I provide bereavement counselling at a hospice. I am also a helpline and peer support group volunteer with a charity for survivors of sexual violence. I have also worked as a counsellor in an addiction charity, and for a low-cost counselling service.
I know it takes courage to reach out, and I will respond to all inquiries promptly. I offer a free online or phone introductory session to explore how we may work together. I offer time-limited or long-term counselling, via Zoom or telephone to anyone in the UK. I can also work face to face in Haywards Heath, West Sussex. I have some lower cost spaces.
