As a highly qualified and experienced therapist, I can support you with a number of worries and events that may be past or present in your life, maybe you have concerns about what will happen in the future? I use a variety of different techniques to support you and am able to adapt my approach to suit your needs. I am able to support adults and children with many issues. I have specialisms in intergenerational trauma (childhood and relationships) and OCD/anxiety. I am completing my professional doctorate where the topic of my research is the both of the above.
Therapy can offer many coping skills and psychological strategies to overcome these and other feelings. In addition to counselling and psychological interventions I am also able to offer CBT, which is a very short term, goal focussed way to overcome difficulties. I have many years experience both with the nhs and also in more recent years, privately.
A consultation with me is free and can last around 20 minutes, online or telephone only. Not everyone goes for this option and some prefer to have therapy right away but I always suggest it as some people like to know who they are going to meet and then make a decision if and how they would like to proceed. Eg face to face, the ways in which I could help.
