We are a low-cost counselling service that supports adults, children, and young people living in Gloucestershire. As a community interest company, we provide an inclusive, easy-to-access service, where the fee you pay is an amount that considers your circumstances on a sliding scale between £15.00-£50.00. Deciding to access counselling can be a difficult step. Our waiting times are short, as we are a good-sized team, with only around a week to wait from meeting you arrange the sessions starting.
Essential Space offers a safe space to talk and find your way forward. When you access our service we will match you with the best person to work with. This first step can often feel very daunting and we want to support you to start your counselling with ease. Sessions can be face-to-face or online, and within organisations.
What you bring is totally up to you, we are all unique, and need support at times when it feels somewhat difficult to work through alone. Your counsellor will work with you to explore a way forward, helping you make sense of what you are going through or where you may be feeling stuck.
