It’s scary admitting to yourself that you need help; and that you’re struggling with whatever is causing you to feel unhappy or distressed. Due to stigma; people feel that they can only access therapy when they are at breaking point; when in fact you can access counselling whenever you need to. My background is in working with abuse survivors; adults and children; and those who have experienced trauma. As a result I work with depression, low self esteem, shame, loneliness, hopelessness, grief & loss, anger, self harm and suicidal feelings as well as a broad range of other factors and experiences clients bring to their sessions.
I work with the understanding that 'knowledge is power' and the more you understand what is happening to, you the less you fear what's happening to you. Then be able to rebuild your life as a happier you, your way, with your rules! I am also a Forest and Nature Therapy Practitioner who offers mindful walk and talk style therapy reconnecting you with nature.
What I offer you is a safe, authentic and real relationship that is nurtured and grown through kindness, trust, honesty and acceptance. I love what I do and have a genuine passion in helping people to heal and get the best out of their lives and relationships.
