My name is Sarah and here at Oak Tree, therapy is always tailored to your individual needs and I will provide a safe and comfortable space for you to gain a better understanding of yourself and help you make the changes you deserve. Psychological Therapy can provide a lifeline to those who are struggling. Most people know that they aren't doing well but don't always know why, or what might be causing or maintaining it. If you are struggling and not sure what to do, please do get in touch and we can talk it through. I work with individuals but I also enjoy working with couples to better understand relationship difficulties.
I have over 20 years experience delivering both short and long term therapy within the NHS and private practice. I can help with a wide range of difficulties, but specialise in helping people recover from trauma and difficult life experiences that have impacted upon their mental health. I am both a certified Schema Therapist and accredited EMDR practitioner.
I offer a free consultation either on the phone or face to face; there is never any expectation or pressure for you to continue with sessions. I will always offer psychological advice with a friendly and open mind. I am also registered with all of the main health insurance companies.
