My name is Fran. I am a qualified counsellor with experience and accreditation to support children and young people. This could be with anxiety, family breakdown, school difficulties or understanding their neurodiversity. I am someone who can listen and help you find strategies to move forward and can offer creative approaches including art, sand tray and games. I am also an experienced primary teacher and SENCo so understand child development and additional needs.
I work with children or teenagers from 7 years plus, for primary age this is better face to face but I can also support all ages online. I work from my home in South Devon with a private therapy room. With agreement we are joined by my Cavapoo Luna, who is very good at listening! If you don't like being indoors I can also use my garden space.
I offer an initial phone or online chat for 15-20 minutes free of charge. This can be with parent, young person or both. We can then see if we think we can work together.
