Hello my name is Nicola Clark, thank you for taking the time to visit my page. By visiting here you have already taken the first step on your counselling journey. I hope my page explains how I can help you further and take the next step. I am a fully qualified & experienced Integrative Counsellor. My core model of practice is Person Centred Counselling with the option to integrate elements of CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Psychodynamic Therapy and Transactional Analysis. This allows me to adapt how I work to meet the needs of each individual client.
I have experience in a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, worry, work related stress, health issues, relationships, family dynamics & past trauma. I have additional training and a particular interest in infertility & IVF, women’s health & the menopause, pregnancy & infant loss and bereavement, loss & grief.
I have my own experiences of women’s health issues including endometriosis, adenomyosis, infertility & IVF. Along with this I have had significant losses in my life, all of which led me to seek therapy myself. I therefore understand the importance of choosing the right counsellor and how difficult it can be to make that first step.
