Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at points in our lives. Through treatment, I can help you (re)gain motivation, perspective, and joy in your life. I worked in the NHS for many years in both primary and secondary care mental health services with adults over 18yrs. I am a registered Clinical Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS). I am also a fully accredited CBT Therapist.
I use principles from empirically supported approaches to treatment, in line with NICE guidance, tailored to the individual. These include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy and Mindfulness Based approaches. I treat a range of problems but specialise in working with anxiety disorders.
I have a wealth of experience helping people overcome the emotional problems that sometimes arise in life. With compassion and warmth, I work collaboratively with clients to help them achieve their goals, feel better and thrive.
