No evening or weekend availability. Fully qualified, BACP and EMDR accredited, I have been working with clients in a variety of settings, including the NHS, local therapy centre for women, Bristol University, voluntary sector organisations and private practice. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed by life’s demands, struggling with anxiety and depression, experienced trauma as a child or adult, or simply looking for self-growth and deeper understanding of yourself, I hope to be able to help you.
Although my practice is underpinned by psychodynamic understanding, I do not believe there is a single approach that works for all. I aim to tailor my service to each client and integrate such theories as Transactional Analysis, Group Analysis and EMDR in my work.
Therapy is not easy. It requires a level of honesty and commitment. My approach is warm, friendly and empathetic, yet boundaried and at times challenging. I believe a good therapeutic relationship makes positive life changes possible.
