Hi welcome to my profile! My name is Melissa and I am a person-centred therapist able to work with individuals aged 16+. I strongly believe that mental health is just as important as physical health. No matter how difficult things may seem, I am here to support you through the obstacles that you may be facing. Therapy helped me through my own issues with binge eating, stress, depression, and anxiety. I now enjoy helping others to heal through therapy.
Person-centred therapy is a talking therapy. It works by providing a safe, accepting, and confidential space where you can explore what is going on in your life without any judgement. It can help by allowing you to talk freely, increasing self-awareness, developing acceptance, and helping you to make positive changes.
