Sometimes the meaning of life gets lost. We feel stuck. We go through challenging life events believing we have overcome them but uncomfortable feelings and difficult emotions remain in our bodies. We might experience symptoms of anxiety such as insomnia or aches, depression or PTSD. We profoundly suffer and we don’t know what to do to change this. As a consequence, at home, at work or in relationships, life feel like a struggle and isn't pleasurable anymore.
Through a somatic approach to psychotherapy, my aim is to help you restore feelings of wholeness and alignment. In line with the recent neuroscience breakthroughs, this approach recognizes that our stories are not only held in our mind but also in our bodies. Not only talking helps, becoming more embodied is key for healing.
