In a world where the ideal is to be a productive member of society, and speed is king, quick fixes are often the desired solution. However, I believe these rarely provide the conditions we need to meet the deep and often complex challenges that define us. I will use my experience as a trained open-ended therapist to ensure we have the time and space needed for you to feel fully met and witnessed where you are. As an integrative therapist I will be able to call on a number of therapeutic techniques to help tailor our work to best meet whatever has brought you to therapy.
We will also use creative approaches, exploring the issues you bring using play, myth, image, symbol and dreamwork. This helps go beyond the here and now to address these issues in the wider context of your life and situation, acknowledging that both we and our experience do not exist in isolation from the world, but in deep connection with it.
