At some point in life, most of us long for new ways of being. This can be brought on through a period of depression, anxiety, traumatic past events, relationship problems, or grief and loss. Many of my clients have never seen a therapist before and I recognise that choosing to do so is a big decision. It often comes from a realisation that now is the time to take a pause, to reflect and to invest in oneself. For couples counselling, I know that navigating the complexities of our relationships can be challenging - humans are complex - two of us together is more complex! Having space to talk and be heard is a good place to start.
My work is focused around building resilience, resourcefulness, and self-esteem. These days, life is just too busy, too stress-filled and we can get caught up in old patterns, reacting on autopilot. Our work together include building awareness of inner processes, through many strategies, and building a stronger sense of sense, based on what suits you best.
