A warm welcome. Having studied Creative Health and Performance Psychology (2022), I understand issues faced by performance artists. I was a member of the Donmar Theatre Local Company (2020-21) and welcome approaches from people who work in theatre and the arts. As a former barrister I understand the pressures of working in the legal profession and financial services industries. Finally, I was once CEO of a national charity, so managers in the voluntary sector may feel I’ll have an affinity with them too but whoever you are, you’ll get a warm welcome from me. I am fully aware that starting therapy can feel very daunting.
I work with adults and deliver therapy online or outdoors walking in Regent’s Park, along Grand Union Canal and up Primrose Hill. I have Skype, Zoom, Teams etc. for clients who live further afield in Kuwait, Malaysia and China. As well as anxiety and depression, I have worked with addiction, and adult survivors of child abuse. I also supervise therapists.
After an initial phone call to check we can work together I will invite you to an assessment session. I would prefer it was done face-to-face if possible and you should treat it as your chance to assess me, to see if I am someone you feel you could open up to. It generally follows a structured format designed to capture as much information as possible.
