As a psychotherapist working with children, young people and adults, I use my professional skills and experience to provide a safe, judgement-free space for children, young people and adults to explore what might be underlying their difficulties. I support clients with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, anger, isolation, identity, sexuality, low self-esteem, school difficulties, friendship issues, loss, grief, bullying, abuse, neglect, parental separation and other issues. I also provide parent work sessions for parents who have concerns about their relationship with their child/children and family dynamics.
My primary aim is to build a relationship of trust with each of my clients so we can explore the way they experience themselves and the world around them in a non-judgemental way. This often leads to greater insight and feelings of self-worth, as well as to ways of relating to themselves and to others in ways that feel more genuine and fulfilling.
I highly value each client's personal experience and story. My insight and great capacity to connect to what is going on for each of my clients is at the centre of my practice. This enables me to feel at ease working with clients of different ages, ethnicity, gender, backgrounds and levels of ability, including clients with learning disabilities.
