I provide counselling and psychotherapy sessions for adults in North London, covering Enfield, Barnet and Southgate. I mainly work in person and online. I work with individuals who have been affected by current or early life traumas such as the loss of a loved one, sexual abuse, physical abuse and emotional neglect. I also work with parents and couples impacted by trauma, who struggle in their relationships with their children and one another. Therapy plays a crucial part in supporting you to understand how 'your' trauma has impacted your psychological well-being as well as helping you to significantly cope better in your life.
My approach to therapy is from a psychodynamic perspective, enabling you to gain in-depth self-awareness of your thoughts, feelings and behaviours. Psychodynamic therapy with me offers a setting which provides a non-judgemental, confidential and therapeutic space to support you in working through your difficulties and making sense of your situation.
My personal and professional background is rooted in diversity, enabling me to work inclusively with people from various circumstances. I believe everyone should have access to professional therapy should they choose to pursue it. Having a space to express, reflect and explore one's emotional world is essential for facilitating mental and emotional change.
