Hello, welcome to my profile. Finding a therapist can be daunting. An important part of the therapeutic relationship is for clients to feel comfortable. I seek to provide a safe space in which your concerns can be shared. I work with children, parents and couples using a range of interventions, such as individual counselling, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Theraplay parent and child sessions and Circle of Security relational parenting programmes. I also offer a range of attachment-based assessments for adults, children and parents.
Counselling sessions can be complemented by creative tools, such as drawing, painting or sand tray. I work in a person-centred and integrative manner as well as having an attachment focus. Circle of Security and Theraplay are attachment-based and relational programmes. The aim of these, as with the Gottman Method, is to strengthen relationships.
The work proceeds at your pace. We will start with the 15 min consultation which is free of charge. We can then meet for the full consultation before proceeding to either the standard and / or attachment-based assessments. These contribute to planning treatment and what might be helpful for you.
