I am an integrative psychotherapist, registered by the BACP (MBACP) . I am trained in 3 therapeutic modalities including: cognitive behavioural therapy, attachment theory and person centered theory. I have a passion for working with people - the center of my practice is taking a compassionate approach. I have worked with a variety of presenting issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorders, eating disorders, sense of self and grief.
Throughout my practice, I have found the crucial role culture plays within the therapeutic framework - I practice with a holistic viewpoint, taking into account an individual's personal history - and tailor the therapeutic experience to best suit each individual. At the heart of every therapeutic encounter, I believe the therapeutic relationship is vital.
I recognize that throughout our lives, we may face challenges, struggles and difficulties. Often, within these times, what we are looking for is a safe space to be heard and seen fully with compassion - so that we may move through our struggles.
