Making the decision to approach a counsellor is a huge step and knowing which therapist to choose can be overwhelming. From the outset I will aim to put you at ease and work collaboratively with you to help you address your problems. By enabling you to speak openly about what is happening in your life, I will join you in exploring your thoughts, feelings and behaviours to help you find lasting change and a different future. I offer both short and long term therapy. We will discuss your needs at the initial session and come to an agreement about what is best for you. No one need attend any more sessions than they feel is appropriate.
I have over 10 years experience working therapeutically within workplace settings, schools and colleges and my own private practice. During that time I have specialised in counselling for bereavement and anxiety and am a fully qualified and experienced child and adolescent therapist.
Many clients have commented that my way of working helps them to feel accepted, understood and trusted. This helps to build a relationship where clients can be honest and open about their issues and supports a depth of work where long lasting change can be found.
