I am a UKCP accredited integrative psychotherapist. I have a particular interest in trauma and the mind-body relationship, including the psychological impact of health problems and the physical manifestations of emotional distress. Many of us have times in our lives when things feel broken and painful. In those times we may seek support. I have over fifteen years of experience working with victims of abuse and trauma and also in palliative care. I am a clinical associate at Domestic Violence Training Ltd and a member of Cancer Counselling London. I am also a certified Iyengar yoga teacher and a registered nurse.
I offer individual open-ended therapy either in person or by video link. I work to deepen understanding of our relationships and the different manifestations of our distress. I work to compassionately explore the ways in which the past affects the present and help clients to access their own healing potential.
I offer a free fifteen minute telephone consultation at an agreed time. I listen deeply and with compassion and humility, paying attention to different levels of what I hear. I believe that within the consistent, safety and trust of a mutually respectful therapeutic relationship there are opportunities for integration, healing and growth.
