I am a compassionate and empathic CBT and EMDR therapist with over a decade of experience helping individuals overcome psychological distress and navigate through difficult challenges. I have over 10 years experience helping people overcome a range of psychological difficulties including PTSD, cPTSD, OCD, depression, anxiety issues, low self esteem, attachment issues, disordered eating and more. I believe that every person is an individual, has resilience and will have found remarkable ways to cope with life's difficulties.
Sometimes we find ourselves in situations or patterns with our thinking or relating that we aren't able to find our way forward from on our own and this is where therapy can be very helpful. Therapy is non judgemental and supportive but at times challenging and even though it can be hard, most people find that therapy is worth the effort.
I use a range of methods but key ones are CBT and EMDR. During your first sessions, we would discuss which methods would be most helpful for you.
