Have you ever found yourself in a situation where a loved one, a family member, a friend or work colleague asks you “How are you feeling”? you respond “I am feeling fine”, however in reality you are feeling tense, anxious, overwhelmed unable to relax, have a sense of dread or fearing for the worst but you don’t want to burden anyone with whatever may be troubling you so you go through life pretending everything is fine. You don’t have to suffer in silence, I know that seeking therapy can be a scary step to take and may seem a little daunting. This is where I can help, working together we can look at ways to help you feel at ease.
My aim is to provide you with a safe confidential, non-judgemental space to talk freely about your innermost thoughts and feelings without fear of rejection to focus on what is happening for you right now and work collaboratively with you to navigate through the difficult times to accept who you are and reconnect with yourself.
I know from experience finding a counsellor that you feel comfortable with is extremely important, which is why I offer a free initial 15-minute session to give us the opportunity to begin to get to know each other, to get a better idea of the way I work and to answer any questions you may have.
