Feeling stressed, tense or worried at certain times in life is a normal human response. For some people, anxiety becomes overwhelming and persists to the point that fear significantly impacts daily life which can lead to low mood and low self-esteem. Anxiety can also develop into more specific areas such as social anxiety, panic attacks or OCD. If you experience any of these and would like to learn to manage your symptoms then I can help. I have experience/I am trained in treating people experiencing Long Term Health Conditions and also have significant expertise in treating Depression, Specific Phobias, Health Anxiety and PTSD.

I am an experienced, accredited CBT Psychotherapist (BABCP) and EMDR Practitioner. I have worked in Mental Health Settings/NHS for over 16 years. I believe in developing the therapeutic relationship in order to promote trust in the process of therapy and helping you to understand that you are your biggest resource. Building resilience is key to recovery.

I am able to offer a free 15 minute consultation to ensure that we establish your specific treatment goals, and to look at supporting your individual needs. I understand that taking the first step and embarking on treatment can be very daunting and should I not be the right therapist for you, I will endeavour to signpost you to another therapist or service.
