I am an HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist with 10 years' experience of working with adults in NHS secondary care mental health services, as well as working privately. I am experienced in delivering psychological therapy for a wide range of difficulties including depression, generalised anxiety, health anxiety, social anxiety, panic disorder, OCD, and PTSD and other long term consequences of trauma. I also offer therapy to people who do not have a mental health diagnosis but who would like help to understand, cope with, and change emotional difficulties they are experiencing.
Every course of therapy is tailored to a person's individual situation. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), combined with elements of Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). I also offer Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR).
