I offer a safe, friendly, professional environment that challenges and supports you as we work together to process your thoughts, feelings and fears. I strive to help you achieve a sense of relief and well-being, as well as presenting you with the opportunity to work towards change and understanding.
My work is based on a psychodynamic approach to therapy although I may draw on other modalities if useful. This approach aims to find you a new perspective, by working with both past and present experiences and behaviours we will understand the influence these have played in your life and in shaping your beliefs.
I have worked in community counselling and end of life care services, giving me a wide experience of supporting clients dealing with a variety of difficulties, changes and life events.
