Do you have concerns about your child’s emotional wellbeing? These challenges can be related to feelings of anxiety or low mood, or they may be behavioural challenges. When a young person experiences emotional distress, this can have a big impact on the relationships in your family, and on your day-to-day life. This can also lead to feelings of stress and exhaustion as a parent. Seeking Psychological support can be one way of understanding and navigating a way through these challenging times for your child and your family.
My clinical experience includes child anxiety and low mood, child behaviour, parenting and parent mental health. I have additional training and experience in supporting Autistic youth experiencing anxiety. I have also completed advanced training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, mindfulness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
I am a non-autistic neurodiversity-affirming practitioner. I work in an inclusive and collaborative way. I believe that the therapeutic relationship forms the foundation of any psychological support, and is pivotal in providing a safe space for you or your child to talk about your challenges.
