I work with people experiencing compulsive sexual behaviour, or what is commonly called sex or porn addiction. This may look like is having guilt or shame feelings about viewing porn or other sexual activity. Or it may be that you are finding it difficult to stop, despite the desire to, or that it is causing you some difficulties in your life. I come from the place of being sex positive, which means I help you to reduce any shame you may be feeling and help you to find a better relationship with your sexual activity. I also work with those people who feel shame about themselves. Whether that be about sex or other aspects of lives
I use a sex positive, non-shaming approach to sex therapy and compulsive sexual behaviour. This means that we will look at what is causing the problem and why. It may be that you have some shame about what your authentic sexuality is. I use shame containment theory, which is designed to help you have a better relationship with yourself and others
