Hi, I am Lindsey, a BABCP accredited CBT therapist based in Uckfield, East Sussex and online. Experiencing times when we feel low or anxious is normal. In fact it’s a great sign that we’re human! There are times in our lives though when how we are feeling gets in the way of living the life we want. This may be in response to challenging or traumatic events that we’ve experienced in life but not always. Even some of the best moments in life can give rise to anxiety.
I use a combination of CBT and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) approaches, which are both types of therapy that are effective with a wide range of issues. I have a particular interest in working with people experiencing difficulties with Anxiety, OCD, ADHD, Binge eating and Overcoming the impact of difficult or traumatic experiences, including PTSD
