I'm a Person Centred trained counsellor with an Integrative approach to therapy. I use different theories and concepts from different therapeutic models. As every one is unique I adapt my approach to best suit and support you. I have worked in the voluntary, statutory and private sector working with a wide range of clientele in a vast range of therapeutic settings. I have worked with Mind, Rethink and Nia. I have organised a Hearing Voices Group for the community. I'm also a Mental Health 1st Aider.
Having counselling is a confidential process, which will help you explore an address what matters are difficult for you. As we work together, we can explore the issues that are challenging to you and find ways to enable you to move forward with a positive outlook and to make long term improvements in your well being. I work with a wide range of issues.
Making the 1st step to seeking counselling and finding the right therapist for you, can at times feel daunting, and I understand this, but be assured its a beginning to a manageable out come. I do Online and Telephone counselling. Therapy can be short term and long term, depending on your needs. I offer a 20 minute no obligation initial phone conversation.
