I am a psycho-spiritual therapist with additional training in bereavement and creative expression. My practice allows for the structure of psychoanalysis, whilst welcoming the spiritual and physical way you are in the world. (You do not have to identify as 'spiritual' to enter transpersonal therapy.) It also recognises that we are interconnected. In other words, what is happening to you, involves others too, it is not all of your own creating. I also work with physical symptoms of psychological pain. The way we work with or against our physical-ness has a deep impact on the way we live our lives.
Our minds are powerful, and often given all the attention when ‘mental health’ no longer feels ‘healthy’. But as time goes by, transpersonal therapy can help us see that the symptoms are there for a reason; perhaps we weren't living a fulfilling and authentic life. So we honour what your system is trying to say; let it guide us towards a more empowered you.
When you get in touch, you can share a little of what is going on for you, and arrange a time to meet for an initial session, where we will begin to get to know each other. We can then meet for a fixed number of sessions, or keep it open ended. We may also feel we're not right for each other; that's alright too. I wish you all the best, whatever you choose.
