I have over 10 years’ experience working within primary care mental health settings & I am passionate about supporting individuals in their journey to understand and re-connect with themselves and others. I work with clients experiencing a wide range of difficulties, including generalised anxiety disorder, social phobia, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), health anxiety, sleep issues & work-related stress.
Compassion, kindness & a non-judgemental stance will always be at the forefront of my clinical practice. Taking the first step to talk about difficulties that challenge or cause distress can be daunting at first. Therefore, at our first meeting you will be given the opportunity to talk, at your own pace, about the difficulties that you would like help with.
There is no 'one size fits all' model to therapy. Treatment is about assessing and understanding what the issues may be before looking at any change. Change sometimes involves learning practical ways to manage and other times it may be processing thoughts and feelings.
