I am a HCPC registered counselling psychologist, and a UKCP registered family and systemic psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience of working therapeutically with individuals, families and couples in the NHS and in private practice. Whether you want to explore new ways of managing life’s problems, understand patterns in your relationships, improve communication or find ways for personal healing and self-growth, I will bring my dual training to assist you in this journey.
I have experience of working with individuals, couples and families, supporting them to overcome a range of emotional & behavioural issues and to navigate dilemmas which often occur in the course of life. Such issues and dilemmas can become problematic if left unmanaged or unresolved and often affect people on a personal level and also in their relationship.
In addition to my clinical practice I work as a principal psychologist within the NHS where I provide clinical leadership to a specialist trauma-informed psychology service. I draw on a number of evidence-base therapeutic models including systemic, attachment theory and third wave CBT and have specialist knowledge of mental health conditions and trauma.
