Hi, Im Karen Joanne, I have a diverse history of working with adults, young people, and children and have experience with, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self-harm, eating disorders, domestic abuse, anger, rape, sexual assault , childhood trauma, ADHD, ASD, dissociative disorders, neurodiverse needs, individuals with social and emotional difficulties and also have experience working with the LGBTQIA community plus many other presenting issues.
Offering a holistic and integrative approach to my practice, I am a creative individual who is able to incorporate creativity into my practice through the medium of art, play or the written word, this works well with any age group and is useful when a client is unable to express or communicate their feelings.
By providing a private comfortable space based in Letchworth. Before we arrange a counselling session, a free 15 minute phone consultation is offered to discuss the best ways of working together. Fully insured qualified counsellor with a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, CPCAB and have trained as an integrative counsellor and registered with BACP.
