I’m a BACP qualified pluralistic therapist (MBACP) and Mental Health First Aid Instructor (SQA/FAA approved). I work with you to explore challenging experiences; thoughts, feelings and behaviours that may be getting in the way of living the life you want to lead. Therapy can help with many different issues, sometimes uncovering challenges that you were unaware of. Managing difficult thoughts, emotions and behaviours; dealing with a mental health condition such as depression and anxiety; or coping with traumatic experiences and events, therapy offers a safe space to explore, to understand yourself, find ways to cope, and even grow.
My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, and I use a wide range of resources to offer my clients a therapeutic experience that matches what they need and feel is useful. I have a wide-ranging teaching background (PGDE), with additional support needs as an area of interest, and have a number of years experience supporting adult learners.
I’m genuine, empathic and caring, bringing a range of professional and life experience to my therapeutic work.
