I am an experienced psychodynamic psychotherapist and counsellor. I offer a confidential and safe space where we can think about what is troubling you in a non-judgemental setting. People come to therapy for all sorts of reasons. Life can throw upsetting things at us and sometimes we find ourselves affected by events more than we expect. Psychodynamic therapy provides an opportunity to discover the unconscious processes that drive our responses and behaviours. Once these processes are acknowledged, we have the choice of changing how we react. This can help us to feel better about ourselves and live a more fulfilling life.
I trained at WPF Therapy and at the University of Hertfordshire. I have also benefitted from my own personal therapy and can relate to what it is like to experience exploratory treatment as a patient. Outside of my private practice I have worked as a psychotherapist as part of the Trauma Unit at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust.
