Hi, my name is Kevin and I am a fully qualified counsellor registered with the BACP. I decided to become a counsellor after my own positive experience with therapy. I predominantly work with adolescents and young adults helping them with issues of Generalised anxiety disorder (GAD), depression, behavioural disorders, loneliness, and acts of self-harming, often triggered by social discrimination, exclusion, stigma, and the influential pressures from Social Media. My approach encompasses three well-established forms of therapy - Person-centred, Psychodynamic & CBT - which I adopt as necessary to meet my clients individual needs.
As a counsellor, I believe in giving my clients a safe space free from judgement, advice, or opinions. I do not exert what 'I think' is best, preferring instead to work alongside them, valuing their autonomy, & preferences, & tailoring their therapy to achieve the best outcomes.
