People who contact me have difficulties dealing with anxious thoughts, physical distress, and traumatic memories. They want to develop a healthier relationship with their psychological experiences so they can focus on what truly matters in their lives. Through our therapeutic work together, we will explore evidence-based strategies to understand our thought processes, overcome anxiety, re-appraise trauma, and try to accept the inevitable in life. I do not work with individuals who have imminent risks.
I specialise in treating social anxiety and trauma-related disorders. I am BABCP accredited. CBT is my speciality, with ACT and DBT as adjunct approaches. In addition to clinical practice, I conduct and publish research on social anxiety and PTSD. I teach and train clinical psychologists on most days and run a small clinical practice.
