Hello and thank you for checking my details. I am an experienced Doctoral Psychologist working regularly in Ryedale and area with anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, eating & body concerns, bereavement, loss and trauma, (including childhood issues). I have additional training, experience and working knowledge in both trauma and all forms of dissociation. Psychological therapy is a highly effective means of dealing with emotional issues and my work is dedicated to offering a professional, confidential service, helping people to deal with problems and gain the insight needed to build healthier more fulfilling lives.
Offering a safe, compassionate environment I aim to relieve the everyday distressing symptoms suffered by people and assist them in exploring the foundations of their mental health disturbance. The aim is to find healthier means of staying well and achieving a more settled and happier way forward in their lives.
I also carry out Psychological assessments/screening and produce reports and documents as requested for a range of purposes. Presently, precautions are taken to protect you from the COVID-19 virus including sanitising of all hard surfaces between patients, covering of chairs with disposables, 2 metre distancing with clinician, no use of public wait rooms.
