Hello, I'm Kate, I'm a Clinical Psychologist offering remote video therapy to adults & young people across the UK. I have over 15 years’ experience working in the NHS and am now pleased to be able to offer help to those who need it in private practise. I have a particular interest in trauma and difficult life events and enjoy working with clients using EMDR to make huge changes to their lives. If you have experienced a one off traumatic incident, or have complex childhood experiences and relationships please do reach out to talk: I have helped many people to overcome the impact that such distressing events have had on their lives.
While I specialise in trauma in my private practise, I have vast experience working with general mental health difficulties such as anxiety, depression, social anxiety, health anxiety and low self-esteem. I also enjoy working to help people in ‘burn out’, whether from stressful work or home environments. In my NHS role I specialise in physical health.
I strongly believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship & work hard to forge trusting, empathetic & genuine connections with clients. I work alongside you to develop a shared understanding of your difficulties & importantly of your strengths. I use integrative techniques to enable individuals/couples to ‘make sense, make changes and move forward’.
