If you are currently finding life hard, whether this be a recent event or experiences from the past, you are not alone. This is where support through counselling can help. Counselling provides a confidential space to share your concerns. Confronting your feelings is challenging but it can also be a very rewarding journey. I believe our relationship is a key element to therapy and that it’s important you feel comfortable with me. I take a warm, empathic approach to my therapeutic work. I aim to build a trusting relationship through our work together whilst creating a confidential space where you feel safe and understood.
I am trained as an Integrative Counsellor- simply put this means that I bring together a few similar approaches and tools in our sessions depending on your individual needs and preferences. I work in a Person-centred way- this basically means that yours is the most important voice in the room, and I can help you figure out what you want to change.
If you would like to discuss working with me, please reach out via email in the first instance, so that I can arrange an introductory phone call at a mutually convenient time. I look forward to talking to you!
