Welcome, My name is Karen and I am a Therapeutic Counsellor and Therapeutic Life Coach. I offer counselling to children from 7 years old using a creative art and play. I can offer a place for you to feel heard and understood, without feeling judged or criticized. It can be the first step towards change and a more positive future. People may come to counselling or coaching because they feel stuck and cannot move forward. One of the aims of counselling or coaching is to explore aspects of ourselves that promote healing and recovery. I can work with you to enable you to have a better understanding of yourself and your relationships.
I have experience working with children counselling in schools and with adults in the community and privately. I am a integrative therapist which means that I use a variety of counselling models, humanistic, talking therapy, creatively, using play and art based therapy for children. I also offer solution focus therapeutic life coaching to adults.
I can work with you to help you work through any areas in your life where you feel “stuck” and need to find ways to move forward. We can experience difficulties in our lives; work, relationships, health, finances, family. These are just some of the areas that can become overwhelming and talking to someone can really help you to lead a more satisfying life.
