Hello. I'm a final year student at the Karuna Institute studying Mindfulness based Core Process Psychotherapy. That means using a Mindfulness, compassion based approach to whatever brings you to therapy. Please don't worry that that means you have to fit into some kind of box, though. It's just my training and orientation and, unless you want to know more, it's the behind the scenes stuff. Hopefully what it means in practice is an experience for you of feeling seen and heard in a safe, non judgemental, confidential, compassionate space.
I also have over 30 years experience as a Registered Mental Health Nurse prior to starting this training, so am qualified and comfortable with whatever issues you might want to bring.
