I have over 25 years experience in supporting people with ADHD, Autism and developmental trauma. I share techniques to improve executive functioning, set goals, develop self awareness and unlock potential. It helps to understand how developmental trauma impacts on the nervous system and current relationships. Learning new ways to dialogue, to listen, to feel heard is important. As a person-centred therapist I welcome a deep personal engagement and human connection. It is vital to feel safe for healing to take place. In a trusting relationship you will become more confident and more able to be your true self.
I specialize in helping people with ADHD, Autism and Developmental Trauma understand their needs, set boundaries, speak up for themselves. I can teach skills to help with tolerating stress, anxiety, mood swings, sustaining attention, managing time, initiating and completing tasks, improving self belief and strengthening executive functioning.
When we have a witness to our lives, another human being's attention and compassion, we feel warm from close human connection. I will listen and get to know you so that I understand where you hurt and how you have survived so far. I will help you to change what isn't working, to express yourself in a container safe enough to facilitates transformation.
