Counselling/psychotherapy is an individual experience and I understand that speaking to someone about what is bothering you can be a very difficult decision. I aim to offer a way of building a strong, confidential and professional relationship in which you can feel safe enough to share and explore difficulties at your own pace. I work to help and support you by being alongside whatever life journey you find yourself travelling along.
Whilst I am true to my chosen modality of Person-centred counselling, there might be times where I feel to suit your individual needs that it might help to integrate different and creative ways of working. This might include CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) techniques, Solution-Focussed practice and Art Therapy skills or EMDR.
