If you experience an internal negative dialogue that causes you distress, you may feel it is impossible to get out of this cycle leading to exhaustion, confusion and a sense of feeling weighed down by your life. Feeling hopeless and stuck can create a longing to be understood. I have several years experience of working with domestic abuse; complex trauma, anxiety, depression and mood disorders. My approach is concerned with healing of mental, emotional, and physical health. I help people learn about and understand themselves at a deeper level leading to greater acceptance of themselves.
Compared to a single therapeutic modality, the unique merits of combined approaches such as integrative psychotherapy are to bring together aspects of self including mood, cognition, physiology and behaviour. The social and transpersonal aspects of integrative psychotherapy are what makes the approach special.
