I am a qualified and experienced psychodynamic psychotherapist providing a warm, supportive and non-judgmental space for you to bring whatever it is you feel the need to talk about. I am there to listen to you with empathy and to help you think about your feelings, however difficult they may be. I am a registered member of the BPC and BACP and work under their ethical code. I hold a professional qualification in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy as well as a previous training in Psychodynamic Counselling, an MA in Psychoanalytic Studies and a degree in Psychology and Counselling. I am a member of the Tavistock Society of Psychotherapists.
It can be hard trying to cope on your own. Talking to a trained professional helps you make sense of your thoughts and feelings and it means you have somebody on your side while you face difficult times. My approach is psychodynamic, which means I explore with you both your conscious and your unconscious mind in order to facilitate long-lasting change.
